Getúlio Vargas extingue todos os partidos políticos

Dia Mundial de Luta contra a AIDS

Em 1º de dezembro de 1988, o Dia Mundial de Luta contra a Aids foi proposto e adotado por unanimidade, na Cúpula Mundial dos Ministros da Saúde sobre a AIDS, celebrada em Londres, na qual estiveram presentes representantes de 140 países. Em seguida, em 1990, criou-se a Comissão Nacional da AIDS (CONAIDS), responsável pela elaboração e coordenação dos Programas de Prevenção e Controle da AIDS. Esse organismo é presidido pelo Subsecretário de Saúde Rodrigo Simán. Desde que a doença foi descoberta no início dos anos 80 (há mais de 25 anos) até hoje, descobriu-se quase tudo sobre ela: O vírus, o modo de transmissão, desenvolvimento, prevenção da infecção etc. Contudo, não foi encontrado nada que a cure.


D. Pedro I é coroado imperador do Brasil

Pouco menos de três meses após ter proclamado a independência do Brasil, D. Pedro I foi coroado imperador do novo país em um dia como este, no ano de 1822. Pouco depois, em março de 1824, ele já teria derrotado todos os exército leais a Portugal e, no mesmo ano, iria instituir a primeira Constituição do Brasil, que contava com o poder Moderador, exercido pelo imperador, que estava acima dos demais poderes – Legislativo, Executivo e Judiciário.

Dom Pedro I ficou no poder até 7 de abril de 1831, quando, incapaz de lidar com os problemas do Brasil e de Portugal ao mesmo tempo, abdicou do trono em favor do seu filho Dom Pedro II, retornando à Europa. De volta a Portugal, ele se viu em meio a uma guerra, que envolveu toda a península ibérica, numa luta entre defensores do liberalismo e do absolutismo. Pedro I morreu de tuberculose, em Lisboa, no dia 24 de setembro de 1834, poucos meses após ele e os liberais obterem a vitória. Ele morreu no palácio de Queluz, no mesmo quarto e na mesma cama onde nascera 35 anos antes.

Getúlio Vargas extingue todos os partidos políticos

Em 2 de dezembro de 1937, Getúlio Vargas assinou o Decreto nº 37, que extinguia todos os partidos políticos do Brasil. No mês anterior, ele já havia fechado o Congresso Nacional. Na ocasião, o então presidente anunciou pelo rádio à nação o início de uma nova era, orientada por uma nova Constituição. Era o início do Estado Novo.

Nos meses que antecederam o fechamento do Congresso, o ambiente político brasileiro era bastante delicado. O mandato de Getúlio (que havia tomado o poder por meio de um golpe militar durante a Revolução de 1930) estava previsto para durar até 1938. Vários nomes despontavam para concorrer à sua sucessão, como o governador de São Paulo, Armando de Sales Oliveira, o escritor e político José Américo de Almeida e o líder integralista Plínio Salgado. Mas a denúncia da existência do Plano Cohen, um suposto complô comunista para tomar o poder, embaralhou o cenário.

No dia seguinte à divulgação do Plano Cohen, em 1º de outubro de 1937, o Congresso Nacional declarou estado de guerra em todo o país. As tensões foram crescendo até 10 de novembro, quando houve a instauração do Estado Novo. A nova Constituição anunciada por Getúlio conferia a ele o controle total do poder Executivo e previa um novo Legislativo. Mas, pouco menos de um mês depois, o presidente extinguiria os partidos políticos.

Durante a permanência de Getúlio no poder nunca foram realizadas eleições democráticas. O Estado Novo durou até 1945, quando o presidente renunciou por pressão das Forças Armadas. Os partidos políticos foram novamente legalizados naquele ano.

Museu Nacional é reconhecido como Patrimônio Imaterial do Rio de Janeiro

O Museu Nacional, localizado na histórica Quinta da Boa Vista, recebeu o título de Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial do estado do Rio de Janeiro, conforme a Lei 10.580/24 sancionada pelo governador Cláudio Castro.

Fundado em 1818 por Dom João VI, o Museu Nacional é uma das instituições científicas mais antigas do Brasil e, até o trágico incêndio de 2018, era o maior museu de história natural da América Latina, com um acervo de mais de 20 milhões de peças, das quais 80% foram perdidas.

Atualmente em processo de reconstrução, o museu prepara sua reabertura no Palácio de São Cristóvão para 2026. Enquanto isso, mantém viva sua missão cultural por meio de exposições e atividades voltadas para a educação e a visitação escolar, reafirmando seu papel como símbolo da preservação e da valorização do patrimônio histórico e científico.

A alma do samba vira patrimônio

Nove instrumentos típicos do samba, como pandeiro, cuíca, tamborim e surdo, foram oficialmente reconhecidos como manifestações da cultura nacional. A lei, sancionada pelo presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva e publicada no Diário Oficial nesta segunda-feira (30), também abrange os modos tradicionais de fabricação desses instrumentos.

Além de reforçar o valor cultural, o reconhecimento celebra a essência do samba. “A alma do samba está nos instrumentos, no som. Sem eles, não há batucada”, afirmou Glauber Marques, percussionista e herdeiro de uma tradição de cuiqueiros.

Rafa, mestra de bateria, destacou a importância dos instrumentos na identidade do samba. “Seja numa roda ou no carnaval, eles dão corpo e alma à música”, disse. Para Jackie Cunha, percussionista paulista, a oficialização é um marco que enaltece a riqueza sonora e cultural desses instrumentos.

Neguinho da Beija-Flor Anuncia Último Desfile no Carnaval de 2025

Após cinco décadas na Beija-Flor, Neguinho da Beija-Flor, de 75 anos, anunciou que o desfile de 2025 será sua despedida como intérprete oficial da escola. Em uma carta emocionada, publicada no Instagram, o cantor destacou sua ligação eterna com a azul e branca, recordando momentos marcantes, como os 14 títulos conquistados e o apoio recebido durante seu tratamento contra o câncer, em 2009.

Neguinho, que integrou a escola em 1975, nunca recebeu salário ou assinou contrato, reafirmando a relação de amor e devoção à agremiação. “Se alguém deve algo, sou eu a você, minha escola”, escreveu, finalizando com seu icônico grito: “Olha a Beija-Flor aí, gente!”.

A Beija-Flor também homenageou o cantor, prometendo um desfile de despedida inesquecível em 2025, com orgulho e gratidão.

Com o objetivo de fortalecer o Terceiro Setor (como cooperativas, organizações religiosas, associações e fundações privadas), o Ministério Público de Mato Grosso criou uma página web para cadastramento das entidades, que está disponível no menu “Serviços ao cidadão”, em “Entidade do Terceiro Setor”, no site da instituição (acesse aqui). A ferramenta foi desenvolvida pelo Departamento de Tecnologia da Informação (DTI), a pedido da 26ª Promotoria de Justiça Cível de Cuiabá – Especializada em Fazenda Pública e Fundações.
